| COMMENTS (3) | | 10/18/2009 | | I have heard the pre-amps, and with a cheap dynamic microphone, they sounded amazingly warm and transparent. This is an amazing mixer and does exactly what it's designed to do very well. I've been dealing with live sound for 25+ years. Would love to have go to use something like this along the way. :) |
| | 04/12/2009 | | Last I heard, I was in line to get the StudioLive for review when it shows up in the office. Unless there's something wrong with it, I suspect that any differences in the preamps among those units will be subtle and a matter of personal preference, if any, not really a purchase decision point.
I had hoped to have the StudioLive here at the same time as I had the ZED-R16 so I could compare consoles with similar functionality, one with analog guts and the other with digital, but the planets didn't line up right this timne. Look for a review sooner or later.
